Guardian was established in 1976 as a small landscaping company.
By valuing people, safety, and integrity in all Guardian’s work, the once-small company has become an industry-leader in the utility and construction industries, as well as storm and water restoration.
How It All Began
In 1976, Nona Cunane started a small landscaping business. Through diversification brought about by the demands of the marketplace, Guardian has grown significantly each year since its inception serving state, federal, city and private corporate accounts.
Today, Guardian concentrates its marketing efforts in business areas where it has established a highly trusted reputation and solid marketing presence: a construction (including railroad maintenance) division, a utilities division, a storm restoration (including snow) division, and a custom services division.
